WARDOGS release status today

The launch beat the studio’s own expectations. The official announcement of September 15 confirms 2 million copies sold (the previous milestone was 1.25 million on September 11) and thanks players for reaching a 400,000 concurrent peak. The login queue collapsed during the first hours; the studio shipped Launch Stability Hotfix #1 the same day (forcing a client update and admitting players in batches) and rebuilt the server browser with Patch 0.11 on September 14.

On reviews, Steam showed 67,518 all-time reviews at roughly 80.2% positive (Very Positive) when read on September 18, 2026, with the last 30 days of English reviews at 84.9% positive. In plain terms: the game runs, the launch queue problem is fixed, but those first few hours still sit inside the all-time score.
