What is the WARDOGS cash economy?

WARDOGS gives each player a starting cash balance and a separate equipment purchase for each life. The official description also links cash rewards to team actions such as revives, transport, and objective work. Because earned cash persists between matches, a careless purchase can affect more than one life.

Why the first $10,000 matters

The cash system changes the cost of failure. In a normal shooter, an aggressive death mainly costs time. In WARDOGS, losing an expensive loadout or vehicle can also remove the tool your team needed for the next rotation. Your first purchase should therefore solve a clear problem: reach the zone, survive an entry, revive a teammate, supply a position, or open a route.

WARDOGS cash economy spending plan

  1. Buy a reliable first-life loadout. Choose equipment you can use under pressure rather than the most expensive option.
  2. Keep a reserve. Save enough for the next life or a planned objective push.
  3. Earn through team value. Revive squadmates, transport friendlies, support the zone, and keep supplies moving.
  4. Spend big with a plan. A tank, helicopter, or heavy tool is valuable when the team knows the route, cover, and follow-up.
  5. Review the loss. If an expensive purchase dies before reaching the objective, change the route or timing before buying it again.

How WARDOGS cash is earned

The official description names reviving squadmates, transporting friendlies, and controlling the objective as cash-rewarding team actions. It also advertises a Hot Zone that can pay double cash. Treat that multiplier as an incentive to coordinate around the objective, not as a guarantee that a solo rush will be profitable; the exact interface and balance can change during Early Access.

How to decide between infantry and a vehicle

Use a vehicle when it saves objective time or changes the route. Stay infantry when the terrain is too tight, the vehicle has no support, or the next zone could invalidate the purchase. A vehicle without passengers, supplies, or a fallback plan is often a personal expense rather than a team investment.

What is not confirmed

Community discussions mention possible seasonal wipes, Gold Bars, and detailed exchange rates. Those claims are not treated as confirmed launch rules here. Wait for a BULKHEAD or Team17 announcement before planning around them.
